NTL/UPC Free DVR offer

    Upc are offering free dvr with broadband and digital, does anyone else have this? Does the dvr have to be used with NTL or can I use it elsewhere and is it actually free? Or will I end up paying the €5 a month extra I (as far as I can tell) won't be charged?

    Only installation in free, a monthly charge also applies.

    THE DVTR can only be used for recording from UPC and remains the property of UPC at all times.

    They have an offer at the moment for new customers who sign up to the digital and broadband value pack they get a dvr rental free for life as long as they don't change service level up or down.
