I just got a call to say we're going into the studio this saturday to do a (very short) demo. Only problem is there's no house kit and I know my own won't stand up to a proper recording. Anyone know were I can pick up something reliable for two days this weekend?

ask the guy recording if he can tell you who he recommends to rent off. Usually they have a friend who will look after you pricewise and give you a nice kit. The good thing is, if they do know someone and are used to renting kits, you will get a kit that the engi will know inside out from previous recordings
