Right before I start, I am a below average swimmer!

Monday night i was able to ten lenghts of 33 m pool, stoping after each lenght.

If i was to train once a week in the pool how long would it take for me to be able to swim 750 m in one go?

    Any ideas?

Once a week is not enough to improve swimming I'm afraid.

    Looking at 3 sessions minimum.

yeah you really need to get to the pool often. at the start of this year i could go 6 lengths and feel wrecked (could keep going but not at the same intensity). i went 3 times a week for a while and even after just 3 weeks of that i was hitting 25/30 laps easily enough. 1 time a week wouldn't have got those results even over three times the timeframe
