Sky HD Freezing.

Hi,

Any one having a problem with Sky HD box freezing last night....Broke my heart during Prison Break. Picture just freezing with the audio continuing to operate normally...Change channel ,,,,go back to channel that froze and every works OK for another while.....

Happens the Sky+ box in bad weather or recording, pausing, channels at the same time and when the Hard Drive is running out of memory.
Usually recovers if you delete some saved programs
and

Switch off the box at the mains leave of for 10/15 sec
switch it back on and leave to 2/3 mins
Then press your SKY button
should reload back to the sky channel

Should solve the problem

Exact same thing happened me at 20:55 approx. .I was watching Stargate Atlantis (Delayed recording) and was half way through when Recording Interupted message appeared on-screen. So I am a bit peeved.

Went to watch the news on RTE-1 and picture would freeze and then go black, and only audio would come through. had to re-set the box for it to go away

exact same happened to me around 9.55 while watching flight of the conchords on bbc 4

Could be the power supply issue on the HD box.

Ya, happened between 9.00 and 10.30pm...Do not know if it is still happening or not.....must have been a sky problem then

I had that problem before I had the box changed due to lots of failed future recordings, lnb 2 no signal, channels freezing, box rebooting - classic PSU symtoms with the bulging capacitors

last night's problems were hopefully sky's

Same again last night, Delayed recording of Stargate Atlantis and Box crashed at aboput 21:05

seems odd to have happened to the same program at the same time two weeks apart???
