looking to set up band

hey all,

i have a vision of starting a rock & roll back with a bit of a mainstream/modern feel to it but with hints of blues and funk in there too.

im 22 playing guitar 7 years and would play lead with backing vocals and ideally i would like to find a drummer, bass and singer-guitarist with an interesting/distinctive voice that could play some rhythm too.

im based in south dublin but would be willing to travel around dub,

influences would be zeppelin, pink floyd, kings of leon and many many more.i would just like to get out and gig some songs that i like and would like to perform while having a laugh and a few beers etc...


so if anyone wouuld be interested give us a bell...:P

bad ass, thats a possibiltiy but it would make things a lot easier if you could play a bit of rhythm but never mind! have you any samples of the voice?? where you based??


DJ id be looking for people a bit closer as id be willing to bet that a relatively long distance thing probably wouldnt work, thanks though!

What ya think, unfortunately have no videos up, but my influences include Coheed and Cambria, Trivium, BFMV, Disturbed, Iron Maiden, Slipknot and Arch Enemy.

I've been playin bass for over two years if you still need a bassist, living in santry but can travel. Influences would be Pink floyd, metallica, muse, red hot chili peppers, a perfect circle. Mostly play rock/indie stuff and would be interested if you'll have me.

Hi mate, I'd be interested in the drumming i'm in north co Dublin, i'm 21 been playing since I was 15 haven't played in a band for two years but I can still play fine just gotta shake out the cobwebs...sounds like my kind of thing, anyway give us a shout.
