    Has anybody any reccommendations to replacing bannisters on stairs. Living on north side in Dublin.

    Sorry, the orginal post is too vague.

    Looking for somebody to replace our existing bannister. The current one is closed up and I would like to open up and replace with spindals.

    Just hoping somebody might be able to reccommend a carpenter that might be able to do the job. Had a guy out to quote who says its straightforward, but his quote was working out too expensive.

    Any reccommendations or would be appreciated. Living in dublin.

    we just got ours done by "the handrail man"

    two full newels, one half, three caps, lots(!) of square spindles, mahogony handrails on stairs and landing return all ready to be painted/varnished.
