updating Civ IV

    I tried the updater from inside Civ4, but it seems to hang indefinitely, I left it overnight (I have a fast connection so it shouldn't be a problem). Has anyone had a similar problem?

    I'm going to download the updates directly and apply them now.

    Do you have Civ4 on Steam? Or on it's own? If you have it on steam it should auto-update when you log into steam.

    www.civfanatics.com , look for the downloads section and search for the updates and patches.

    I got the Civ 4 complete disc. I have steam as well and could use it as a launcher, but that wouldn't update it right?
