Does anyone know how to go about applying for a street vendor licence? There's no information on the Dublin City Council website.

Governed by the Casual Trading Act 95, a 'hawkers' license or General Casual Trading License costs around €275 per annum.

Apply at your local County Council Office.

Can you post the link where you sourced this from?

    Cheers

    Lol
    :D
The other option is to just go for it - the gardi who tell you to stop will also tell you exactly where to get a street traders licence.

I was selling t-shirts on Grafton street, being very, very cheeky, and that's what I did - they'll take your name but give you a warning first.

That way you get a couple of days without paying...i think that makes better economic sense...
