I have just got back from a long weekend at the Rathmullen house hotel in Donegal.

Superb place if you like a bit of peace and quiet and a bit of walking/pony treking along a sandy beach.

Only Northish as far as Cavan however had heard there are great bargains to be had in Farnham Estate.... The North East Coast(Antrim coast etc)is beautiful however I don't know of anywhere to recomend in that area.

My personal favourites for many years are in county Down....Newcastle, Rostrevor and Kilkeel especially.

Donegal coast line cant be beat. Anywhere near Dunfanaghy, Creeslough, Portnablagh etc. Beautiful beaches and scenery, very relaxed life up there. The pubs are the best in the country too.
