    Anybody know if there are any regulations specifying the type of tank required (plastic or steel) for home heating oil and the distance the tank should be from the dwelling house or boiler house?

    Take a look at this -- might answer your question. I found it recently while looking for info before replacing an old oil tank. I assume it applies everywhere.
