itunes movies??

:rolleyes:anyone hear when itunes ireland will have videos to buy??? if they can do it in the usa itunes why cant they do it on the irish one is beyond me!! would be real handy for the ipod touch movie colection!!!:mad:

Not in the foreseeable future, it's to do with distribution rights throughout Europe. There was a thread a while back about it.

well i know for tv shows the following applies.

the big networks like abc make $1million per episode of lost that they sell to sky one. now that's say $16million a year. apple want to keep abc happy so they restrict who can buy tv shows by region.

i'd imagine it's something similar for movies too.
