Was in it there last weekend. Its the same auld thing. Has the same layout as the old ginkles. Grand looking place. Lacking a few speakers twards the far end of the place. Had 2 of the worst pints of carlsberg in there. The staff didnt seem to sure how to put a pint either.

The thick red carpet can only be the biggest mistake ever! Its gonna get beer and drink all over it, its not gonna be cleaned propperly and its gonna smell like ginkles. Certainly bring back the old memorys.

Ill give it another go, but if the pints are as bad as the first night and if theres a smell arising, ill only see it failing.

have to check it out for old times sake next time i'm home - brings back bad bad memories but funny none the less

em apologies to the random girl who's hair I melted with a cig by accident. She didn't notice at the time anyhow but there was a huge chunk melted - dancing drunk and smoking not a good idea- too much hairspray too i guess - thought it best not to point it out at the time

also anyone remember the chicken curry they used to serve down the back where the cocktail bar was?

i worked there and you know what sometimes i miss it. we had some good memories in that place tho.:D

your right id did start to smell towards the end.

the new place is called coppers and i believe its the same guy that had ginkles that has it now..
havent been in but will have to venture in to have a nosy.
