Hi, Anyone used the train that goes up and down the coast between Malaga and the towns on the Costa Del Sol. Just wondering if it would be easy to do day trips from Malaga to places like Fuiengerola / Torremolinas / Benalmadena, and how much it might be. cheers, Mark

During the summer I used the train in Malaga on a few occasions.
Used it to get from the airport to torremolinus.
and also from torremolinus to benalmadena.
And again to get back to the airport from Torremolinus for return flight.

Its very hand to use. There's trains about every 20 mins or so and theres different lines that are fairly easy to follow. One line goes up the coast and the other goes in the opposite direction. Theres are maps at each station also so you know which side you need to be on.
Cant remember exactly how much it cost but it was very cheap from what I can remember. Only like 2-3 euro return or something and maybe 1.40 single.

    Much cheaper than getting taxis!!
