    Right, wanted to post this and decided to make a thread of its own so hopefully more people/guests would bother to take note.

    I know stretching piercings fast can be tempting, but a friend of mine tends to do his a little too fast (going up multiple mm's at a go and dead stretching). A lot of people seem to think it won't happen to them (I'm one was one of them but am more careful now). So to quote his post from another site:

    So to anyone thinking about it, you have been warned, he only went up by 2mm on this instance and there are the results.

    I went up by 2mm myself and have a small blowout on my right ear. Not cool.
