Aren't girls supposed to be more in touch with their feelings than guys? Why do you have to go through the marathon guessing game when there's obviously something bothering them? Sitting there without a peep, you have to go through a big list of what *could* be wrong. And you end up digging yourself in deeper bringing up dodgy stuff from before that gets them more pissed off and makes the whole thing worse.:mad:

Its a trap, they let you dig yourself into a hole by saying something stupid and then they have a reason to be angry. Of course theres no real way out of the situation either, because if you don't enquire as to why they're in a bad mood, you're an insensitive bollox. Best to give them something small to whine about and let them get it out of their system.

She'll start off by smouldering over the fact that you won't offer her any, and will of course twist this into you insinuating she's fat, but the panic will set in about the three-quarter way mark and she'll be snuggling her way into your lap with a wooden spoon in no time.

Apart possibly from the wooden spoon, this also works with cats.
