speed display on garmin sat nav

    when you have input a destintion and are on your way it only shows arrival time on the bottom left, if u press this it comes up with a new screen with a load of stats including current speed, is there any way for it to display ur current speed on the main map screen?

    perhaps a firmware upgrade?

    finally what about the newer version garmins, what kind of interface do they have compared to the garmin 200w/250w, do their new ones display your speed when you are travelling to a keyed in location?

    Its a feature I think would be a good idea aswell. They also lost the scale that used to show at the bottom of the screen.
    If you touch the direction button does it not show the distance screen with the speed on it? Not the same I know but...
    Not sure about the new ones, its a 250w I have aswell.
