I don't really think it will be - despite it's shortness, CoD4 was one of the most actiony shooting games I've played so far, and the online is WELL addictive - I loved 1 & REALLY loved 2, wasn't mad on 3 and 4 blew me away.. I personally love shooting games that make use of weapons and vehicles that we have these days - I'm not a massive weapon geek, but enough of a one to prefer using the modern counterparts to the wwII relics tbh.. plus sitting in a spectre gunship MILLING everything out of it - how could wwII possibly live up to that level of power? :) it couldn't in my book.

I hope so but im not really into using the old weapons either. The flamethrower will be interesting tho.

I could be wrong so don't slate me if thats the case but.......

I thought I heard somewhere that 1 & 3 were made by one company who are also making 5 and that 2 & 4 by another. I thought 2 & 4 were far superior than the others.

If thats the case, then the news might not be too good, otherwise, ah well lol!

I am fairly impressed by BETA so far seems to be a cross with 2 & 4

    Infinity Ward made 2 and 4 . Tryarch made 3 and 5, I don't know who made 1 .

That's about it...I was bitter that I didn't get to play as the russians in three so I'm looking forward to that! I think COD1 still might be my favorite

Well from all the reviews I've read, they all seem to be saying its as good as, if not better than COD4. I'm gonna wait till I get to play it myself to decide tho. The flamethrower with unlimited ammo should bring a good twist to it too. But might get too one sided because of it.

The story mode will have sniper missions and gunship missions. But they will be nowhere near as cool as the Spectre and the .50cal!

I heard it's a different company doing COD5....? Or like, there's two companies that did COD4. One is doing COD5 and the other is already starting on COD6

Or something like that...my brother told me

If it ends up only "as good as" COD4 then people need to ask what was the ****ing point ?

Some people like the modern weapons that COD4 brings, other like the WW2 weapons and the like. So for me I like the COD4 weapons, cause I like the modern. Whether it is good or not, the fact that you are interested means that you might just buy it. The demo might not show everything.

Honestly, I need a new game that at least come close to COD4, because I have played it to death, and still am. Far Cry 2 would be on the list.

Oh, and Infinity Ward are supposedly bringing out COD6......
