They were very lucky. Avondale is a gem of a place for running. Wicked hills on those cross country loops too.

Some nice photos there Mick, including a few good ones of me! Thanks! Avondale is an interesting course, Very rewarding on good runs, but can be pure hell if you're not in the mindset to tackle that hill. Its nothing in comparsion to any hill runs, but when you have to hit it say 5 times during a 10k lenister/national with the feild going at insane pace it isn't fun at all!

You were going well Tim and you improved your position on some of them cursed hills :-). Lucky it was only 3 laps indeed.
