Micromodels appeared in 1945 and died out with the advent of plastics, ugh! They have been revitalised by several companies. I have just purchased Hampton Court Palace, the completed model is 25cm x 19cm. If anyone is interested, check the net for card or paper modelling and especially a firm called Marcle Models. The original cost in 1945 was about ten shillings old money, I have just paid £17!!! The range covers, ships, railways, aircraft and architectural.
