    hey everyone,
just wondering what people's opinions/experiences are on the matter of waiting lists. having had it drummed into me consistentl for years that if there is so much as 5 people on a waiting list for a cash game that we should open a new table asap it has puzzled me how things are done here in brisbane.

in the treasury casino in brisbane the first time i wandered in to play a game i noticed that there were quite alot of people on the waiting list, over 20 in fact. they had plenty of spare tables to open new games but i was informed that no new tables would be opened any time soon. having played there more often i now realise tis is the norm here, one saturday night waiting list consisted of 48 people!! a waiting time of about 3 hours ensued...since i have only really played in ireland i was wondering if this is the norm for most countries and maybe ireland was the exception...any ideas???

Most likely they do not have enough dealers/floor staff to run any more games

so im guessing that no this is not the norm..this place appears to me to be so inefficiently run but it is shackled by lots of laws governing the poker being run in the casino which is to blame from what im being told over here
