    Not exactly:

'This title will be released on November 10, 2008.'

Was just in HMV and they told me this is going to be €170?!!

And the season 1-6 is now €225?!

Calling all family guy crazies :)
This question has probably been answered a million times already but i'm fairly new to family guy and i was just wondering why the episode layout is totally screwed up? Season 7 has been realesed but yet it contains episodes from season 6 and season 7 is currently been shown in america. Aaaaaah help my brain hurts :(:(:(

Sorry am i not explaining very well :(
Well i know that season 7 has been released recently on dvd but after having a look on wikipedia a short while ago i realised the season 7 dvd contains episodes from season 6 and while season 7 is out on dvd here season 7 is currently been aired in america....what the deuce? :)
Should i just ignore the episode list on wikipedia? :)

Sigh. The season 7 that is being released on dvd is actually season 6. The real season 7 is currently airing in america and is on episode 6.

The reason for the difference is that season 4 was split in two. The second part of season 4 then became known as season 5 in the UK and Ireland, while remaining season 4 in the US.

So to sum up, all DVD releases in the UK and Ireland are actually a season behind the American series number.

Yeah, good summary. I would have left everyone confused with getting into writers strike technicalities and what not. :)
