    My internet was down for a couple of days recently. I just went outside and found out why. This is the state of a 20meg line...

    Turns out that the builders next door cut the Chorus cable and so Chorus had to come and re-route the cable around their house! Here's the old cable.

    While I know it is shocking, many of the Fibre to The Home (Verizon FiOS) installs look like that.

    Only in new builds is it normally buried in ducts.
