    What browser are you using?

Odds are it's Internet Explorer, try changing that and see what happens.

Check your Add/Remove Programs control panel for ad serving software. I came across this recently. The kids of the owner had agreed to an advert server in order to download some games from Bebo. Uninstalling it stopped the ads. Worth a look.

Be careful not to delete any adware scanning software. It won't detect this because it's a legit install by the owner.
