    Hey,
Just wondering what any of ye think of Ballybrittas. Looking at buying one of the houses in the graigavern development.

its a small town. portarlington, monasterevin or killenard would be better imho as theres more amenities.

There's a huge push by developers to sell around any of these towns right now, it is a buyers market so I would scout around and see what offers are available before settling on any location.

Isn't even classified as a town! You'd be going to Portlaoise or Portarlington for any shopping/socialising....so you'd have to be prepared for that.

Quiet enough now as the main road isn't used as much as it used to due to the motorway!

I'm biased being from the area :)
That estate looks lovely, very well finished compared to some of the ones in the larger towns.
As was pointed out the village is very small but this has it's advantages as well as disadvantages. We're generally a nice friendly bunch :o
