Yes and morals. And well, frankly we're bloody beasts when we pop out. Don't blame us!

[bleedingheartliberal] Why of course not. These poor souls are all products of broken homes in socio-economically deprived areas who have been let down by socity and the Government, and we should pity them.[/bleedingheartliberal]

The people you are looking for are over in the Hunting forum. Childen/adults...all the same
Children who kill other children ( Jamie Bulger )

Go over to the Military forum. Children/adults...all the one

    Adults who abuse kids.

If we had a Priest forum, I'd tell you to go there.

ls there a lack of conscience or are some people born Evil?

Depends on what you mean by "Evil".;)

Apologies if it is in the wrong Forum.

Precisely. It may be down to sociopathy or not having been taught right from wrong. Because they're abstract concepts that don't exist outside of human thought.

I think killing animals is different.

Kids are taughtt not to hurt others

10 year olds like the Jamie Bulger killers had reached a level of maturity to discern between "naughty" and right and wrong. But under that age Im not so sure that a child is criminally responsible.

I think a 'psychopath' is technically a person without a conscience. I don;t think you're born with one, you (hopefully) develop one as you grow up. If you don't then you become the archetypal psychopath.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

you can teach a child to be a savage

normally they pick up values but i think its kind of inate

children who are beaten lash out

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's actually a sociopath which is considered someone who knows right from wrong but doesn't care, i.e. doesn't have a consicence

Psychopaths on the other hand do, many top business leaders/innovators have the psychopathic profile personality wise, but don't indulge in mass murder etc.

Sociopaths are far more dangerous imo then psychopaths

sociopath - I agree with that definition -

explain psychopath in the non criminal sence and criminal sense

That Jamie Bulger case really got to me!

Would any of such have happened 100 odd years ago befor the acceptable advent of media violence? Thats what is destroying minds of kids - who are not to know any better

    and it would

the perpetrators were kids - if the child was killed by a woman we may also be horrified

children are innocent - but there is no accounting a dark streak

i dont know why but they would be the last people we would have suspected except for CCTV

it flies in the face of oour perceptions

Definitely don't agree, I was beaten black and blue by teachers and parents as a child, but rather ironically also encouraged to be active in my community, the less violent side is what I chose to live with, going on my treatment as a younger child I'd be out walloping anyone near me now when they wronged me!

+1 excellent point I truly think that in this day and age, far too many kids have far too much exposure to outside influences that are harmful to them

Fair point- although that particulair case was reportedly a reinactment of something or other game vid that the boys had seen!

Bombarding a chlilds brain with realistic images messes with wiring of the mind. Making it harded for them to decipher right or wrong -

Dunno about that to be honest, I think that childhood and how you are treated is a huge factor, beatings aside I was always encouraged to work hard, and do well and that's what I take most from my pre adult years rather than the beatings etc

huge factor. maybe your rebellious side was supressed and you just decided to conform and do well, like they told you to

Are you seriously blaming television, videogames and the internet?

    Where are the parents?

That's where the ulitmate responsibility lies.

No I'm saying that these days many parents choose/don't control kids interaction with external influences.

I remember as a kid some dodgy act on Top of the Pops and my mother switched off the tv rather than let us see it, these days imo, that doesn't happen.

In many ways I think that these days true childhood is gone, and it's regrettable.

I firmly believe they are born without it. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain due to breeding.

You believe that we're born with a conscience? Also, your second statement doesn't make much sense. Do you mean inbreeding?
