Let's face it, I don't think these guys are capable of making an album that isn't just class.

I "borrowed" a copy of it. So far, so great. if you like that, check out the latest and final E.S.T. album

I agree, another fantastic album. I haven't listened to all of it yet. (Only upto track 6/7) Anyway, so far I don't think it's better than Mr.Beast. Loved that album... But this album is still quite amazing. :)

Not a huge fan of them, but enjoyed the fact that they titled a song "Scotland's Shame".:D

Mr Beast is probably my favourite too. Just above Happy Songs for Happy People and Come on Die Young.

E.S.T. = esbjorn svensson trio. he's dead now alas....
they have a cli[ up on myspace from their last album, it's just out. very good.

mr. beast. I heard a few songs but never took them, but I do like happy songs...
I must check out mr. beast now, give it another chance.
listened to new album while out for a run last night. I like it so far....
    not ideal jogging music though...

Definitely better than Mr Beast. Mind, i thought it was gonna be more of a rocker a la batcat.

CODY is probably still my fave, followed by either YT or Happy Songs

Still waiting for this to arrive in the post  getting impatient now!

Have all their CDs apart from Die Young, hope this is as good as the others....Auto Rock is just awesome from the last album, the pounding drums at the end are going a long way to wrecking my car stereo speakers!:P

listened to it a couple of times. seems standard enough right now.
    I really enjoyed Mr Beast.
for some reason Rock Action is my fav....
no one ever picks that though :/

I loved Rock Action, and you have some great songs on that album, but overall, I just preferred Mr.Beast.

Just bought this and Dear Science today from cdwow.co.uk. The great exchange rate at the mo meant I got both for €18.50.

'The Hawk is Howling' is amazing. Only time will tell whether i prefer it to 'My Beast' or 'Happy Songs...' but at the moment i cant stop listening to it.

Favourite songs anyone? 'Jim Morrison' and 'I love you, i'm going...' are fantastic..love 'the sun smells too loud' aswell

The Sun smells too loud is my addiction track at the moment! There'll be others, it was just the first song along with the title, I can remember...

    Liking the album a lot.

Heading over to London to see them in a few weeks 'cause I never got around to catching them live before.

Hitting the after party too where they're doing a dj set.

    Woo Hoo!!!!

I love this fan-made video for The Sun Smells Too Loud, syncs perfectly with the music. It's ace.

i love the sun smells too loud. it could be a knee jerk reaction, but this is possibly my favourite mogwai album, but i do love ep+6. although their best song is friend of the night.

the first song on the new jimmy cake album reminds me a lot of mogwai.
