Top Gun PS2 game US Format

I got Top Gun for PS2 from Amazon recently but when i out it in it says i need a format disc. i dont know much about playstations, so what does this mean in lay mans terms? What do i need to get and where do i get it or do?. Thanks

It won't work. This happened to me when I bought THUG2 in Washington DC.

Hard luck. Unless you want to buy an American PS2

if you really wanted to play this game and still have your ps2 handy, you could get a boot disc which emulates the region codes or something like that. here is a link for a site selling them
