While I really couldnt give a monkeys about any of the conspiracy theories presented in the first one...I think I'll give this one a look

Just finished this,definitely an improvement in production,quite nicely put together and a few interesting parts...but overall,incredibly dull and ridiculously pompous at times...

My personal lowlight was the "Actions for social transformation list" towards the end,where the arrogant little twerp narrating from his bedroom,provides a simple list of actions we should all carry out,in order to find happiness or as he puts it "align with the signal coming from our true empirical oneness"

All you have to do is -

(1)Expose the fed Cartel
(2)Boycott the news networks
(3)Boycott the military
(4)boycott the energy companies
(5)Reject the political system
(6)Create critical mass (which means going to the zeitgeist website and signing up to the mailing-list,ooohhh how rebellious)

Kinda enjoyed the first one,this was just boring and self-important.

Im still not finished this.

Putting aside the conspiracys, its very convincing that corruption is inherent and necassary for the monetary system. Its done wrong, now that these conspiracies are in the video it makes the whole thing kooky in most peoples eyes. A pity.

If what was put forth in the first 20-30 minutes of the video keeps perpetuating, greed and debt being the control, what else could any of us propose to do about it? Im not asking you have you got something better or less ridiculous than the list above.... nothing comes to me anyways.

I cant watch the whole thing because i have to meet with someone but if what they are proposing as a solution would work.... the Venus Project, the transition to that would be ultimately either very slow or completley anarchic. Impossible really, when you think about it, no medium could stop the monetary system as economics are the basic "values" of our society.

Last year, Peter Joseph produced and wrote a feature-length documentary named Zeitgeist. The documentary was made freely available to the public on the Internet and consisted of three parts. First one dealt with religion, part 2 with 9/11, and part 3 with the Federal Reserve Bank. And what do they all have in common? How do they fit into the modern society? These were questions that were attempted to be addressed in the film.

As all three of those are relatively hot subjects in more ways than one, the movie has gotten a wide-spread attention throughout the world. However generally acclaimed very positive, many deemed it "eye-opening" in the very least.

After being announced a while back by Peter Joseph himself, the second instalment is now available to the general public.

Zeitgeist Addendum picks up where we left off in the first documentary, and moves on to offer a far more feasible and sustainable long-term solution for our society as opposed to what it is today. As the first part, the work also comes in three parts. Each of which move closer and closer to a viable long-term solution.

The feature-length documentation is now available to watch on Google Video in its entirety for free, and will soon be released as a free download on the homepage of the project itself.

To my mind, the first part was very eye-opening and has changed my perception of things in many ways. I have altered some of my lifestyle because of what was said. After having seen the Addendum today, I have to say it is in the very least as impressive and eye-opening as the first one - everyone who wishes to make the world for him/herself a better place and people around him/herself, should watch this. And join the movement.

I love the idea but it lost me at the Venus project page.

We are fast approaching a time when human intelligence will be incapable of interacting with the rapidly occurring events in the physical world. The associative system of the human mind is far too simple to handle and put to practical use the voluminous information needed to operate a highly technical and advanced world society. The processing required would have to handle trillions of bits of information per second, far too complex for human systems to handle, particularly with the infusion of nanotechnology.

And when you say not this **** again Mordeth.. do you mean 9/11 conspiracies? There was only one or two slight references in the Hour and a half i seen. Its worth a look. And its release is timed well IMO. If the conspiracy stuff was edited....

I watched the first one and it was very poorly put together with 'facts' (particularly the ones about religion) which were obviously false and easily disproven with about 5 minutes research.

It was also deliberately misleading in parts. The screenshot of the BBC news website about chips being 'implanted' in newborns springs to mind here - not in fact what the story on the BBC site was about at all.

I love how these videos that are supposed to be exposing 'the truth' so often use their own lies to try and further their points.

Anyways the first Zeitgeist was so terrible I won't be wasting a minute of my time with the second one.

Can we ship this thread over to Conspiracy Theories now please? :rolleyes:

I love stuff like this, it's like watching a long detective movie.

Watched Addendum yesterday, the first part, I really liked, I don't know how banks work, but I guess what was said is true? but then it started with the Venus project... and that sucked, it's basically a projection of utopia, which we all know will never ever exist, and besides isn't that what NWO wants? to reduce population and whatever is left will live like gods with all the technological advancements?

Anyways, I'd love to have been one of those guys that went into countries and corrupted it's goverment, like being a little devil on somebody's shoulder, haha.

Capitalism and monetary system is not perfect of course, but's still the best system out there, if you are smart, lucky or strong, you will survive.

This is to all who want to listen,
After watching Addendum my eyes have been opened, but unless you read or encounter this stuff from many sources, then you can not really understand where the person is coming from...

look at the recession we are in now and tell me that in ten years you want the next generation of your family to be growing up to a world where they will have to compete against a machine for a job just so they can feed and maybe house themselves.

if anyone has worked in any of the scientific industries then they will have seen exponential growth at some stage. This is happening with technology at this very moment if you really look at it, it improves faster and faster all the time. This is going to end up with the fight of man vs machine, until money is taken out of the equation

The only gripe i have with the film is that the Venus project has not considered the over-unity power generation that is currently not being utilized because not enough is under stood about where the energy is coming from, or more realistically the fuel companies are silencing anyone who has the ability to produce this.

Seen this tonight for the first time and thought it was really good. Some eye opening stuff and it was nothing like the conspiracy nut job documentary I was expecting. I urge everyone to give it a watch as it has become ever more relevant considering what it predicted and what has happened in the years after it was made.

I see the reaction ITT was mainly negative when it was released, I wonder considering what has happened would people now think differently.

Edit- Just reading about it online it looks like lots of it was made up or just down right untrue. I suppose it was still an entertaining watch and if nothing else presents some good ideas.

That's the problem with it. Most people just assume it's true because it sounds like it could be true, and they never look into it. That's how propaganda works, I guess.
