Falcon Accommodation 'Allocated on Arrival'

    Hey guys,

I just booked a last minute deal with Falcon to Lanzarote and the accommodation is allocated on arrival. I've never booked accommodation like this before and just wondered if anyone has any experience of it?

I know it's a bit of a gamble, but presumably we could either end up in the lowest end accom or luck out and get a really nice property which happened to have a lot of vacancies for the particular date we're over!

I'd be interested in hearing any thoughts or experiences anyone else has had!

    Cheers,
    Schnork.

I did it once on a trip to Italy. Accom allocated on arrival. We ended up in some hole that was full of German tourists. The Germans were very nice. Hotel staff had very poor english skills. Everyone else was in the same boat, no one got anywhere decent.

It was the first and last time I risked it. Never again.
