Netgear router question? Help please.

    hi,

    I got a Netgear -G Router WGR614 v9 and its plugged into a Digiweb Zyxel modem.

    Thing is my Acer laptop can pick it up wirelessly fine but my n95 mobile cannot? any reason why as it was working fine the other day on my mobile?

    Also, I'm going to be getting a second laptop - is the any certian type I should consider to ensure it works with this netgear router?

    With regards to the N95
    -Are You using any form of security on the router?
    -Make sure you have the lastest FW for the N95
    -Make sure your SSID is not too long

    Any laptop will be able to connect to your netgear - but what I always suggest to people is that if theres an N upgrade when your buying it - get it as it will future proof things for you and they are backward compatible with b & g
