They're not going to be as good as a dedicated macro lens, but they are a good and reasonably cheap way to find out if you are interested in making a more significant investment in a good macro lens.

I took the three lily shots here with something similar, and was happy enough with them. I intend having another run at some macro stuff using them over the next little while, when I find the time:)
