Making an antenna?

    I was just given a Magellan Roadmate 300 that's missing it's antenna.
    Anyone know a cheap + easy way to bodge one together?
    Google's been sod all help so far.

    search ebay for 'gps antenna' you might need a mmcx connector or something, some coax to solder it to the pcb but it shouldn't be hard

    If you're unable to go down the DIY route, you can buy a gilsson antenna, which are highly regarded.
