    Hi all,
So I decided to set up my own website. After a bit of looking around I decided to go with Wordpress, for ease of use

A piece of piss to set up they told me, liars! I tried for hours to get it going last night with no success. I'm sure some of ye here who are using a similiar set up will know where I'm going wrong.

So anyway, I have the domain name registered with GoDaddy, and hosting with Bluehost. As far as I can tell, Wordpress has been installed on Bluehost (using simple scripts or something).

So what happens now? As far as I know, godaddy and bluehost aren't "linked" together properly, one not pointing to the other or something:pac:

Hopefully something simple will sort this out, I scoured the net and tried various things with no success. And if I get them "linked" together what happens then? I can logon directly via my site yes?? I hope this Wordpress thing gets simpler, I was hoping for nice simple templates and drag and drop type stuff!

    Thanks for any help:)

    Hey Brian,
You probably got your domain with godaddy, and hosting with blue? You need to point your domain to the right dns. Once that's done you can setup your blog through your hosting account and the control panel or you might have to ftp it yourself.

If you have any queries feel free to pm me and I'll help you out :)
