Recommend me a GPS

Having spent ages last night driving round trying to find the road up to Tountinna in the Arra Mountains and then gotten up very early this morning to give myself time to walk from Glendine Gap up to the top of Arderin in the Slieve Blooms only to fail to find the location in a timely fashion on my way back up the country…

Having spent ages last night driving round trying to find the road up to Tountinna in the Arra Mountains and then gotten up very early this morning to give myself time to walk from Glendine Gap up to the top of Arderin in the Slieve Blooms only to fail to find the location in a timely fashion on my way back up the country from work, I've decided that I need to buy a GPS system..

Looking for recommendations of a GPS system to help me
a) find parking spots/mountain roads etc..
b) take with me to help locate the summit..

I see that mountainviews has a downloadable GPS list of summits so something into which I could load this would be preferable.. Any suggestions appreciated.
