Safari troubles....

    hi, having a bit of a strange one with safari on my MacBook, it appears it wont run on any airport connection, - i get a cannot connect to the internet as sever is not responding message.
    then if i try firefox, it connects no problem. safari works fine with my O2 wireless modem tho.........

    It's a problem with your proxy settings. Go to System Prefs > Network > Airport and uncheck the proxy settings. Firefox isn't as integrated with OSX as Safari and uses it's own proxy preferences which is why it's not affected.
