Just wondering if people know any decent driving ranges in south dublin, and maybe post how much they cost for different amounts of balls. I use the Spawell and hate it. Robbing bast**ds. Bad facilites, mats and expensive.
    120 srixon balls 9 euro

€9 for 120 balls seems reasonable enough. Stepaside is €6 for 50(I think) and some of the balls are really poor quality.

I go to spawell myself. find it just ok, there are some new mats near the door but the ones further away are old and poor, and as for the outside bays, well the less said the better! the range itself is decent, flat and easy to judge distance.

Also been to leopardstown, where the mats are much better, the balls probably better too, but the actual range is not great. it's got a good few hills, which mean that you cant see how far your balls goes if it ends up the other side. Hard to judge the distance as well.

Stepaside range is also quite good but a tad expensive for my liking. I'm sure there are other ranges though if none of these tickle your fancy.

Celbridge Driving Range is €8.50 for 135 balls but they wouldn't be the best quality balls. Some of the mats are better than others. There are also a few outside bays which are not too bad.

Morgans in Drogheda is 5euro for 100 balls and there is a big grass area aswell as bay. The balls are not dear because he inherited the farm
