Looking to buy a bike of ebay but most arent interested in packaging it up and taking it down to their local PO. One lad qouted £100 for UPS, so was wondering if anyone ever used a Uk courier to ship here and if so did you find it reasonable?

    Thanks

Try these. Cost me £60 to ship 4 alloy wheels and 4 tyres (80KG) with this crowd. UK to Ireland.

Got a qoute from them for £50 to ship a push bike from the UK to here, which I am going to go with. IT only weighs 28-30lbs so I presume the high cost is due to its ackward size. For future buys like this has anyone got any other suggestions

    Thanks

    Nightline or interlink.

I use interlink for heavy items... i once got a ribbed boat brought over from uk with interlink!

Cubix - I would be surprised if you are buying new that the item isnt packaged.

    I would check that.

Ive brought stuff from the states for cheaper than £100
