Does anyone know any good retail websites for home cctv equipment? Ive checked Maplin and Im looking for alternatives to check equipment/prices against. In particular Im looking for outdoor cameras about 30ft nightvision range and a networkable MPEG4 DVR.

There's quiet a choice on EBay, Even a few Irish providers on there. I've purchased mostly from Hongkong and happy with their stuff. Instead of a DVR I got a 4 channel capture card for around €20 and put it in an old PC which works exceptionally well.

A lot of the dvr cards on ebay are clones. You could end up not being able to use the latest legitimate software with them.
