I no this is not strictly a Online Buying & Auctions issue but I think it fits this forum best.

I am about to order a load of Polo Shirts for the members of a website I run, they will be delivered to me so thats not a prob but then I will have to post them out to a lot of lads as they are all over the country.Would anybody have a ball park figure on how much it would cost to send a Polo shirt via an post..?I need to know so I can add the price on before I put the order in.Thanks in advance.

An Post have what they call a "postage calculator" on their website here:

    http://postage.anpost.ie/

Its a bit vague.. but as long as you know the weight of the shirts... and more importantly the size of the box they go into you can use it... it might be best to ship them in one of those bubble wrapped envelopes... if you put them in a box they can't be classed parcel unless the box is really big for some reason (find out what I mean here: http://www.anpost.ie/AnPost/whatareyousending.htm) so you'll be charged a packet, and around Ireland by registered post for a .5kg packet is €6.75 or €3.85 for standard post.., you could get away with in which case registered is the same price, but standard is only €1.90.. I take it they're not over .5kgs, and if they let you ship DVDs in a large envelope, then you should be allowed a t-shirt... don't quote me on that though...
