broken leg

hi guys i broke my leg and dislocated ankle 4 weeks ago had a plate inserted on one bone above ankle the cast comes off 2 weeks from today does anyone know if i can start to walk on the foot again now? im afraid to put weight on it. still using crutches did anyone have this b4 thanks
