FAS & Part Time Work

    Sorry if this has been answered before, I searched but couldn't find anything. Are you allowed to work part-time if you're doing a FAS course? And if so is there a maximum amount you can earn or a maximum number of hours you can work?

    Yes, you can work while doing a Fas course. You can work fulltime if you want, as long as you attend the course.

    Well I'm applying for a full time day course, and hopefully I get the training allowance. But thats only 188 a week

    Can you work part time if you're gettin the training allowance?

    Yes you can and you gat travel allowance as well so you might get bit more than 188.

    Really? I hadnt even thought of travel allowance! Some courses are in Finglas, so the petrol and tolls would defo add up!
