    Hey folks,

If this isnt in the right place please move it.

Got a price for skirting and architrave last night and I just want to see if it's comparable to what others got.

Its for 6in Skirting and 4in architrave with a hockey stick.
    450ft of skirting
    Architrave for 18 doors
    €3,700

    Sorry, everything is solid oak.

Seems abit on the high side. But oak is expensive.
Will it be pre-finished with laquer?

I'd always recommend getting 3 qoutes from local trades.
Contact 2 other joinery firms for quote for the same quantity of oak.

Cool, doing that now. Its for 6in skirting and 4in architrave with a hockey stick. Theres no finish on it so will have to get it sprayed as well.
Works out at 2.60per ft for skirting and about 1.85 per ft for architrave.

Got skirting and architrave and hockey stick for 3500. Not too bad I suppose.

Just wondering if there is a standard price for putting this stuff and timber floors down? We're getting 2 guys to price it next week but Ive no idea what to expect.

Anyone have a rough idea what it costs to carry out 2nd fix and lay floors?
