Youtube videos not working on Firefox?

This could be me being a tech tard (very high chance of this) but when using Firefox and someone uses the the youtube quotes the youtube window is displayed fine, but when I press play nothing happens. If I copy and paste the page link into Internet Explorer then they work fine. Is it me, my Firefox settings or the site. I…
