If so, from where did you get it? I've looked at a few online places but not a lot of them seem to have what I'm looking for..a Tempest Custom in white. Thomann lists it as special request and dolphinmusic.co.uk say it's no longer available. It's still on the Schecter website though so I don't think it's been discontinued.

Great guitar...my singer has one in wine red colour...maple cap, mahogany body, tonepro bridge piece, grover tuners, set neck...in fact it's only weakness are the duncan design pickups and even they aren't too bad...but they'd be the only change I'd make on this guitar...spend the extra 100 blips on excellent pickups.
You'll get one on ebay fairly handy I'm sure dude!

I've a hollow body (Porl Thompson signature model) Schecter myself that plays like a dream....it's stunning looking too...or at least I think so...not everyone agrees with me! :)
But again, that came with duncan designs which were alright, but I got a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom for the bridge and a Pearly Gates for the neck off ebay for about 120 blips including delivery....ya should hear it now....it's amazing!

I think Schecter would be a real contender if they stopped stocking their otherwise high-spec guitars with below spec pickups...because really....short of the pickups...everything else about them are pretty fantastic for the money!

Anyways...I'm sure my singer wouldn't mind if ya wanted a go on his before ya buy one yerself to make sure it's what ya want mate!

I've a Schecter C7 Hellraiser. It's my main player these days and I've got a jackson soloist and a decent Ibby RG that it competes with. Great guitars with very good hardware and they can be had for pretty cheap. Their European distribution is terrible though. I got mine through eBay UK, most models pop up every now and then on it.

That's exactly how I feel about my Michael Kelly Patriot. It's actually the mention of the two being of similar quality on another forum that got me looking at the Schecter. I really like the look of it but do I need two mahogany/maple cap/humbucker type guitars?

    ^+1

They are carrying some great specs for the price and from reviews they seem pretty solid.
