Photo Hunting at Lunch

I have got an idea this morning because of two recent events.

Out Dalkey camera club had recently a night shooting with a theme "Doors". It was a great fun to walk around village and take photos of doors you think could look good.

Also, on the forum for russianspeaking people who live in Ireland was the contest "PhotoHunting" (http://virtualireland.ru/showthread.php?t=23510&page=2). It was fun, but there are not so many photocrazy people on that forum to do it more often.

So, i want to put my idea in here. And you can say "Thanks" if you would like to take a part in it. We will see how many people want to take a part and decide if we have this fun here or not.
    The idea.
For example, on Tuesday, 7 October, at midday, I (or admin or anybody who is responsible) will give a theme of PhotoHunting. Everybody who takes part in this contest will have only lunch time to go, take shots and then download to this topic the best photo of PhotoHunting before 3pm.

Then anybody, who is registered on forum, can vote with a "Thanks" below the photo he/she likes.

Voting will be finished on next day, 8 October, at 3pm.

The winner will be the person whose photo got more Thanks than others.

(if we do such photohunting a regular thing then we can do a gallery of Photo Hunting winners)

    I'm in.

Does this need to go to the Photo Challenges sub-forum?

I'd be up for this but would have no way to take, process and upload in that timeframe. ( I think called work would interfere )

I've my had my own personal project "on me Lunch break" on the go for a while, with surprisingly good results.

    Definitely a good topic.

True, but I'm drawn to the lack of time for processing, other than the quick and dirty variety. I think the immediacy is appealing.

I suppose you could leave it to the next day, and let the honesty of the competitors (and the EXIF:)) prevail!

True, the immediacy is appealing. For me though, I've no way to upload a card at work as all external devices are blocked. But I may be the exception, so keep it going.

Sorry, I have not mentioned that photo should be uploaded before 3pm.
So, it means, we have time from 12 till 3pm to find it, take it and upload it :)

UPD: oh, i have mentioned it, but i think, it is not too obvious :)
