I downloaded malwarebytes prog, and sddoctor program, ran both ,full scan, removed what i could.SO i,m left with tdsserv trojan , and application netspy, malwarebyte got rid of the other spyware.is there any free program that,ll get rid of tdsserv trojan, it says i have 79 files in the registry pertaining to tdsserv trojan,eg local,machine\software \tdss injector, *.
MY pc vista os,works ok in safe mode, after i press directory services restore/recovery mode from the safe mode boot menu.
Would there be any backup up registry files in system 32 /repair that i could copy in dos prompt,i know i can just reinstall vista ,and format the drive.ITS a dual core intel 1.5ghz laptop.Could i just restore old registry ,if there is one on the hardrive.

    Do this

Please visit this web page for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

This includes installing the Windows XP Recovery Console in case you have not installed it yet.

For more information on the Windows XP Recovery Console read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058.

Once you install the Recovery Console, when you reboot your computer, you'll see the option for the Recovery Console now as well. Don't select Recovery Console as we don't need it. By default, your main OS is selected there. The screen stays for 2 seconds and then it proceeds to load Windows. That is normal.

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.
