windows xp installs i need to do reinstall but i think i've used them all up

    can i still reinstall xp if i have used the key 4 or 5 times?

    The most you will have to do is call Microsoft to request activation. Expect to be asked why you have reinstalled so many times though.

    you need one license per machine
    you can't move an oem license to another machine
    an oem license dies with the motherboard

    ring to activate if still on the original pc or are transferring a non-oem license

    last i checked it was ten actvations before you had to call MS

    It will ask you to call MS sooner if any significant hardware changes. I've only had to do it once and there was no hassle and no questions asked.
