You might remember me posting before and saying there will be 964 km of motorway in Ireland by 2015. Well I've gotten out the ol' calculator and updated it taking into account the recent possible redesignations:

Well if you're interested, here it is:

    Motorway Lengths 2015 (Ireland)

    M50 - 45 km (28 mi) (Dublin Ring Road)
    M25 - 23 km (14 mi) (Waterford Bypass)
    M20 - 95 km (59 mi) (Cork-Limerick)*
    M18 - 70.8 km (44 mi) (Limerick-Galway)
    M17 - 25.5 km (15 mi) (Galway-Tuam)
    M11 - 44 km (27.5 mi) (Dublin - Rosslare)
    M9 - 116.5 km (73 mi) (Dublin - Waterford - via M7)
    M8 - 155 km (96 mi) (Dublin - Cork - via M7)
    M7 - 184 km (115 mi) (Dublin - Limerick)
    M6 - 144 km (90 mi) (Dublin - Galway - via M4)
    M4 - 62 km (39 mi) (Dublin - Mullingar)
    M3 - 51 km (31 mi) (Dublin - Kells)
    M2 - 13 km (8 mi) (Killshane - Ashborne)
    M1 - 80 km (50 mi) (Dublin - Belfast)

1108 km (693 mi) of motorway in Ireland by 2015

(This assumes that the whole N9 will be motorway standard)
    * Approximate - the route selection is currently taking place which may alter the length of the route.

If I've missed anything (although I don't think I have then be sure to let me know...)
