Can anyone tell me the quickest and most realistic way of getting from Adamstown to Maynooth on public transport? Thanks

Probably a walk to the village or to the N4 underpass at the Spa hotel and hop on a 66/67a to Maynooth

That is quite some walk. 25/A (not sure which) to the village and a 66 would be better if its wet/cold for sure.

There is also the very unreliable option of train to Celbridge, take the shuttle bus, and get a 67A. Did it from Parkwest a few times. Check timetables very closely! It'd be quicker if it worked out.

Thanks to DoT who prevented a direct service from Adamstown to the Lucan QBC, this is nigh on impossible or very difficult:

    1) Walk to the 25A and take it to Woodies and then catch a 66 / 67A
    2) Take a 25X (there are three!!) to Woodies and then catch a 66 / 67A
    3) Train to Heuston and a 66 / 67A
    4) Train to Hazelhatch, shuttle bus to Celbridge and 67A to Maynooth
    5) Walk to Lucan / Spa Hotel and then 66 / 67A

But in each case, check the timetables carefully!!!

The 25A doesn't go near Lucan village. But, you could get it Woodies, cross the road, and get a 66 from there if you really wanted to.

It'd probably be quicker to walk to the village than walk to the 25 terminus...
