Can't run newly installed apps on my iTouch

Last night I upgraded my iTouch to the 2.1 release which allows me to install applications. Nice.

I clicked on the App Store button my Touch and began searching for applications.

I installed a few (Facebook, Twitterific, Google, Wordpress and IM+) without any problems.

Until I tried to load them up. Each and every application initially looks like it's about to load up and then it exits to the main screen in approx 2 seconds without any error messages or anything.

I haven't altered any settings since upgrading the iTouch. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong? Cheers.

    Frag it. It's working now.
That was odd though. I installed a new app (Flashlight) and now all the other apps are working.

Got there before me dammit !! ;)

For those not sure what an iTouch is, here's a linky. Now, seriously, how could you confuse that crap with the beautiful iPod Touch !!

Oh apologies. I wrongly presumed that everyone in here has a level of competence about themselves to realise that I was referring to an iPod Touch when I said iTouch. Sorry to hear that some are a tad below the curve.

Absolutely correct except for the fact that there is a product called an iTouch with has more than a passing resemblance to the iPod Touch. Don't take it personally though, we all get along so well in here that it's probably the only thing we have a chance to argue about !! :)
